Recently, a formula for the ballast that the club uses on its N-Trak and T-Trak layouts was sent out in an e-mail.  For some reason, it did not result in the ballast that was matching previous modules.  Bruce Alcock and I spent some time attempting to re-create a formula that did match and have successfully achieved a formula that does so.  The old incorrect formula was:  Woodland Scenic fine ballast ration:  1:1:5  of cinder, light gray, gray (used to be called dark gray).  

The new formula is: Woodland Scenic fine ballast in 20 parts light gray -12 parts gray -1 part cinder.
